Azure Infrastructure Engineer (Onsite Preferred | Dallas, Texas Local Candidates) – Short-Term Contract (10-12 Weeks)
Overview: We are seeking an expert-level Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, develop, and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform and build end-to-end CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions. This short-term contract (10-12 weeks) requires a hands-on professional who can fully automate the development, code deployment, and release processes in an Azure environment.
This role is onsite preferred, and we are prioritizing candidates local to Dallas, Texas who can work closely with the team to implement scalable and secure cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Infrastructure Automation – Design, build, and optimize Terraform modules for consistent and scalable Azure deployments.
✅ Azure Services – Deploy and manage Azure ML, App Services, AKS, and other key components to meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
✅ CI/CD & DevOps Automation – Develop and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for fully automated development, deployment, and release pipelines in Azure.
✅ Security & Compliance – Implement best practices for access control, secrets management, and regulatory compliance in Azure.
✅ Monitoring & Optimization – Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting to ensure high availability and optimize resource utilization and costs.
✅ Leadership & Best Practices – Provide guidance on Terraform, DevOps, and cloud automation, mentoring team members and promoting an efficient DevOps culture.
Qualifications
🔹 Experience: 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, with 2+ years of hands-on Terraform experience in production environments.
🔹 Azure Expertise: Proven experience deploying and managing Azure ML, App Services, AKS, and related Azure resources.
🔹 CI/CD & Automation: Expertise in setting up end-to-end automation for development, deployment, and release processes using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
🔹 Scripting & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for infrastructure automation.
🔹 Soft Skills: Strong communication, ability to work independently, and proven leadership or mentorship experience in DevOps environments.
