We’re hiring a Senior Azure Data Architect to design and lead modern data solutions using Azure Databricks and Delta Lake. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone deeply experienced in data lakehouse architectures, scalable ETL pipelines, and self-service analytics with Power BI.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities:

• Create reference architectures and define cloud data standards to ensure scalable and reliable solution delivery

• Implement modern data lakehouse architectures using Delta Lake on Azure

• Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure Databricks using PySpark

• Define medallion architecture data models and implement real-time integrations

• Optimize solutions for performance, cost, and reusability across cloud environments

• Design and implement automation frameworks for pipeline consistency

• Define integration patterns for Power BI and promote data self-service capabilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business needs into data applications

• Lead the design, development, testing, and iteration of enterprise data solutions

• Present prototypes and integrate stakeholder feedback into iterative improvements

Required Experience & Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Engineering, and Analytics

• 8+ years of cloud data architecture experience with at least 4+ years on Azure

• Proven expertise in Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog

• Deep experience with ETL development using PySpark, CDC, SCD patterns, and Lakehouse maintenance

• Strong knowledge of integrating with Power BI and enabling self-service analytics

• Experience aligning data development efforts with business goals

• Proven track record in leading end-to-end solutions in large enterprise programs

• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
