Job Title: Enterprise Cloud Architect

Location: Hybrid – On-site 2–3x/week in West Palm Beach, FL

Job Type: Direct Hire

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with a focus on cloud computing, data centers, collaboration architecture, Office 365, desktop/server hardware, and artificial intelligence (AI). This individual will play a strategic role in shaping the technology landscape and supporting digital transformation initiatives. The position requires cross-functional collaboration across IT disciplines, including infrastructure, networks, security, development, and end-user services.

Responsibilities

  • Advise stakeholders and IT leaders on infrastructure, cloud, and collaboration strategies.
  • Align enterprise architecture with cloud and digital platform roadmaps.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, vendor strategies, and product roadmaps.
  • Define future-state architecture and maintain strategic roadmaps.
  • Enforce architectural standards and lead design reviews.
  • Lead architectural reviews during demand management and project planning.
  • Design and maintain cloud, platform, and infrastructure architectures including high availability and scalability.
  • Lead innovation initiatives leveraging AI and cloud solutions.
  • Design and implement solutions with Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and other platforms.
  • Optimize desktop/server infrastructure for performance and scalability.
  • Identify and mitigate architectural and technology risks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and frameworks.
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses for technology investments.
  • Stay active in architecture and tech communities to promote best practices.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years in IT functions, including enterprise architecture roles.
  • Strong experience with Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms.
  • Expertise in cloud architecture (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with desktop/server hardware and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of database systems, security, networking, and IT business continuity.
  • Familiarity with TOGAF and enterprise architecture methodologies.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Proven track record in planning and leading AI and digital transformation initiatives.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Advanced degree or certifications preferred).

Preferred Capabilities

Strategic & Organizational

  • Ability to influence strategy and drive business-aligned roadmaps.
  • Strong understanding of multinational corporate processes.

Architecture & Modeling

  • Familiarity with tools like BiZZdesign and frameworks such as BPMN and ArchiMate.
  • Experience leading tech transformation and process improvement projects.

Technology

  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft, AWS, and GCP platforms.
  • Experience with SAP and large-scale enterprise software.
  • Knowledge of RPA, AI, and automation technologies.

People Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing abilities.
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.

Work Authorization:
