Kforce has a client that is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer - Infrastructure in New York, NY. This is a hybrid on-site role and requires 3x week on-site in NYC. Roles and Responsibilities: * Hybrid Cloud Architecture & Support: Azure Cloud Engineer will design, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud solutions leveraging Azure AD; Integrate on-premises resources with Azure services, ensuring seamless connectivity and security * PaaS Services Management: Implement and support Azure PaaS offerings (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Logic Apps); Maintain performance, availability, and cost-efficiency for cloud resources * Application Support: Support Azure Authentication services and troubleshoot related issues; Assist developers with Python and C# application code * Production Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex production issues related to network, application, and infrastructure; Monitor and optimize performance using Azure cloud-native tools * Infrastructure-as-Code: Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure using Terraform; Implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps * Security & Compliance: As a Azure Cloud Engineer, you will apply least privilege and zero trust security principles * DevOps & Automation: Manage source control, build, and release pipelines; Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, and ARM/Bicep templates * Collaboration & Support: Work with developers, security teams, and stakeholders to meet business requirements; Provide technical guidance and training* Azure Platform Expertise: Experience with Azure PaaS and IaaS services; Strong knowledge of Azure AD and hybrid identity solutions * Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Expertise with Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep * Scripting & Development: Proficiency in Python or C#; Familiarity with PowerShell for Azure automation * Networking: Understanding of VNET peering, NSGs, load balancing, and VPN Gateways; Experience with Azure Firewall and Application Gateway; Ability to read packet captures * Security & Compliance: Experience with Azure Policies and security best practices * DevOps: Experience with Azure DevOps; Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) is a plus * Monitoring: Proficiency in using Azure cloud native tools for monitoring * AWS Experience is a plus
