Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes (AKS), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Azure DevOps. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, operations, and security to drive cloud strategy, automation, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ARM templates.
  • Lead containerization and orchestration efforts using Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for both application and infrastructure deployments.
  • Promote cloud security, scalability, cost optimization, and high availability in all architectural decisions.
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development, operations, and security teams.
  • Conduct design reviews to ensure architectural integrity, scalability, and security standards.
  • Mentor and support junior cloud engineers, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
  • Stay up to date with new Azure services and tools to continually enhance architecture and delivery methods.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a cloud architect role.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including compute, networking, storage, and identity.
  • Deep expertise in Terraform and IaC principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (preferably AKS) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
  • Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, especially in building automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and governance frameworks.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across various levels.
