Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud-based data pipeline development.  Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and cloud-native tools
• Develop and maintain complex queries using T-SQL and PostgreSQL to support data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Implement and manage scalable data solutions using AWS services such as Lambda and S3
• Integrate and process data feeds from external systems including API-driven data and web scraping sources
• Collaborate with business and analytics teams to support data accessibility, integrity, and performance
• Ensure proper documentation, version control, and adherence to data security policies

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in Python programming with a focus on data manipulation and automation
• Strong experience in writing efficient queries in T-SQL and PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, especially Lambda and S3
• Familiarity with data ingestion, web scraping techniques, and data transformation workflows
• Exposure to reporting tools like Tableau is an added advantage
• Experience or familiarity with Azure Synapse, SQL Server, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) is a plus

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, ETL development, or a similar role
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
