Role Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure systems on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services and best practices to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Implementation: Architect and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
• Infrastructure Management: Optimize AWS environments, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC, to ensure efficiency and performance.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Terraform and AWS CloudFormation templates for automated infrastructure provisioning.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor system health and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues to maintain high availability.
• Automation & DevOps: Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to automate deployment and management processes.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, manage IAM policies, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Technical Support: Provide expert guidance and support to internal teams regarding cloud infrastructure and best practices.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or in a similar cloud computing role.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, architecture, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of database management and data storage solutions on AWS.
• Understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and access management.
