Role: AWS Cloud Architect

Primary Skillset: AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, DynamoDB, AppSync etc.) , AWS CDK for Infrastructure as Code, TypeScript, GitHub,

Secondary Skillset: Monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Advanced scripting skills in TypeScript or Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack).
• Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub for version control.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on system reliability.
  
  

Long Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain scripts using TypeScript, Python, and Bash to automate various tasks and processes.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like AWS CDK Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or AWS Code Pipeline to automate code deployment with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and implement monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK Stack to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Utilize Git and GitHub for effective source code management, ensuring version control and collaboration.
• Architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions leveraging AWS best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into cloud solutions.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place and meet business continuity requirements.
• Continuously evaluate new AWS services and tools to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and assist in the implementation of cloud-related best practices.
