Chief of Staff KC is looking for a Cloud Architect to join our client's Cloud Engineering team. In this role, you will serve as a consulting, helping clients modernize their infrastructure, adopt cutting-edge cloud technologies, and design scalable, secure solutions. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and architects, contributing to the planning and execution of complex cloud projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of AWS cloud architecture solutions
• Analyze client environments and determine infrastructure requirements
• Oversee project execution, manage resources, and create technical documentation
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and networking issues
• Present recommendations and solutions in client-facing settings
• Collaborate with software and DevOps teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable solutions
• Define cloud infrastructure standards and best practices
• Mentor junior engineers and support ongoing team development
• Participate in on-call rotations for operational support

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience managing AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Strong understanding of cloud security concepts (IAM, policies, KMS, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with networking concepts and OS administration (Linux/Windows)
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
