Summary

The AVP Inside Sales Manager, Originations is responsible for establishing, managing, and maintaining a profitable and highly productive consumer mortgage originations team. This position is accountable for all activities and resources involved in the Inside Sales origination process. This position is responsible for the recruitment and development of a driven originations sales team. This position will establish and maintain a high performing team of account executives with consistent intraday management, constant training, monitoring and mentoring with a focus on driving core KPI’s.


Qualifications


  • Comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience in mortgage origination and project management
  • Demonstrated leadership traits and skills (e.g., problem solving, data/analytics, collaboration, effective presentation skills, interpersonal skills, and effective communication to all levels of the organization)
  • Extensive knowledge of operational concepts, controls and strategies
  • Experience managing a team in a call center environment, driving an intraday schedule and KPI’s specific to inside sales
  • Utilized a CCaaS dialing system to drive activity
  • Prior experience managing a team in a call center environment
  • Experience in building out call center sales teams specific to the mortgage originations space
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting and maintaining mortgage talent
  • Demonstrated problem solving and change management skills
  • Strong interpersonal/human relations and collaboration skills
  • Ability to bring together multiple stakeholders and drive decisions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to include demonstrated proficiency in presenting to teams, clients, senior management, etc.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in mortgage leadership roles
  • Expert experience in mortgage operations and sales
  • Expert experience in all mortgage products including but not limited to conventional, government and non-QM loan programs
  • Experience driving an intraday schedule to motivate sales staff and drive maximum productivity and performance
  • Ability to be creative when structuring loan programs for customers
  • Experience with industry-standard tools and applications including Encompass, Velocify, Consumer Connect or similar products
  • Experience using a CCaaS system to drive customer contact
  • Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Visio, Excel, Word, and Power Point)


Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a team responsible for originating consumer mortgages
  • Responsible for creating a high performing team in a call center environment
  • Experience driving high conversion rates working both portfolio and consumer direct leads
  • Knowledge of all mortgage products including, but not limited too, conventional, government and non-QM
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding ongoing production goals and budget expectations related to origination of residential mortgages
  • Provide direct or indirect leadership/management to all resources associated with the consumer mortgage originations process
  • Manage daily loan sales and operations
  • Establish productivity standards and minimums, develop and monitor reporting against standards, and manage resources to meet or exceed standards
  • Oversee mortgage lending policy adherence, and make recommendations for policy changes as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act and annual submission of the HMDA report, IRS Mortgage Interest Statements
  • Prepare and provide appropriate reporting of loan production to senior management team
  • Monitor competitive pricing trends, and work closely with senior leadership to ensure all products are appropriately priced and competitive
  • Help create and administer mortgage specific training and create an ongoing program to ensure the consistent training of sales team
  • In collaboration with the Marketing department, develop and manage campaigns to drive production volumes
  • Other tasks as assigned by senior leadership
