The Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive
Avionics Operations Specialist to oversee critical elements of our avionics development and production pipeline. This multifaceted role bridges
project management, procurement, PCBA build coordination, engineering change support, hiring assistance, and lab inventory management. You will work
cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, HR, and lab teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of avionics projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, track, and manage avionics projects from concept through delivery.
- Monitor timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and provide regular project updates.
- Manage purchasing processes for avionics-related parts and services.
- Issue POs, track deliveries, and maintain vendor relationships.
- Coordinate PCBA fabrication and assembly logistics.
- Track build schedules and resolve production blockers.
- Facilitate and implement Engineering Change Orders.
- Maintain accurate revision history and documentation.
- Assist in talent acquisition for avionics roles.
- Coordinate candidate screening and onboarding activities.
- Manage inventory for parts, components, and equipment.
- Maintain usage logs and forecast reorders.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in program management, procurement, or operations in aerospace/electronics.
- Familiarity with BOMs, PCBA processes, and change management.
- Familiar with project management and ERP tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Startup or rapid R&D environment experience.
- Avionics systems knowledge and compliance familiarity.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most offers and are considered part of Mach’s total compensation package.
