You will collaborate closely with architects and software engineers to ensure the excellence of software implementations across varied projects. This role is a keystone in qualifying the intricate software that powers their product lineup.


Your role will involve:

  • Thoroughly understanding embedded software architectures to test software in line with provided requirements. Designing and executing comprehensive tests to ensure complete coverage of software requirements.
  • Reviewing software requirements with a critical eye for detail.
  • Gaining a deep understanding of hardware functionality to enhance test effectiveness.
  • Developing, automating, and structuring software qualification tests according to established procedures.
  • Embracing the role of software qualification owner, showing eagerness, autonomy, and a result-driven approach as a key project team member.
  • Engaging independently in technical and conceptual discussions with software architects, engineers, and project leaders.


Your expertise should include:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in automotive software testing.
  • Proficiency in CANoe and CAPL scripting.
  • Expertise in CAN, I2C, and SPI communication, as well as CAN and UDS diagnostic testing.
  • Experience in oscilloscope usage.
  • Strong knowledge of ISTQB testing methodologies for test case creation.
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, JAMA), defect management tools (e.g., Redmine, JIRA, CoreALM), and version control tools (e.g., GIT, SVN).
  • Experience with ASPICE SWE.6 test activities and the V-Model.
  • Analytical prowess and decision-making skills in software requirement analysis and defect verification.
  • ISTQB foundation level certification
