Vehicle Test Engineer

As a Vehicle Test Engineer at ALTEN Netherlands, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of automotive systems by using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing. You’ll be working on projects with a focus on the automotive industry where your expertise will help shape the future of vehicle testing and development.

Job Description

• Develop and execute HIL tests for vehicle systems, focusing on performance and reliability.
• Work closely with engineers to translate technical requirements into efficient and effective test plans.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex testing issues, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Analyze test data to assess system behavior, identify potential issues, and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing meets project requirements and deadlines.
• Document test results and generate comprehensive reports for internal and customer use.

Profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically with HIL testing.
• Solid understanding of HIL testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
• Experience in automotive systems, testing, and validation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and customers.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic industry.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering-related field.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
