Profile Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Cybersecurity TARA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a solid background in Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARA) within the automotive cybersecurity domain, focusing on both application and infrastructure/cloud environments. This role is essential for ensuring the security and integrity of our automotive systems.


Primary Skills:

Must Have:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments engineer in automotive cybersecurity, specifically in the application and infrastructure/cloud space.
  • Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity standards such as ISO 21434, SAE J3061, WP.29, R155/R156.
  • Proven experience in performing Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARAs) and conducting attack tree analysis.
  • Comprehensive hands-on experience with threat analysis in embedded software systems within the automotive industry.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate potential risks related to automotive cybersecurity, analyze their potential impact, and propose effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that teams and suppliers adhere to cybersecurity processes, maintaining compliance with regulations and standards such as UNECE R155 or ISO 21434.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to security procedures and risk assessments.
  • Review software applications for potential security vulnerabilities through application security reviews, including secure design reviews and threat modeling.
  • Conduct vulnerability analysis and management, including risk treatment decisions on specific topics, while effectively communicating with various stakeholders, including management at all levels and vendors.
  • A good understanding of high-integrity systems and secure software/hardware design principles in an embedded environment.

 

Nice to Have:

  • An academic qualification in cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in German is a plus.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage in hands-on activities as an Automotive Cybersecurity TARA Engineer within our central Vulnerability Management Team.
