We are looking for an Automation Tester to join our successful HiHi Business Phone development team. We work in an Agile development environment, creating physical desk business phones and software, enterprise backend systems and end of line business applications.

We have a small dedicated, innovative, and friendly group of developers and testers at 4Com currently working on the fourth version of our successful HiHi business phone. We’ve already invested heavily in the test automation of our backend systems, mobile phone applications, and HiHi Android devices, and are looking for someone to help the team take our existing C# based test suites to the next level.

 In return for this, we are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in test automation, using C#.
• Experience in an agile environment.
• Experience in using automation tools such as Specflow, Selenium, Playwright, Appium (or other).
• Experience in creating and maintaining test plans.
• Be able to hit the ground running and be proactive in exploring new techniques and new ways of working.
• A positive attitude with the ability to work well within our development teams.
• Great communication and organisational skills with a natural problem-solving mindset.

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience working within the telecommunications industry.
• Experience testing Business Intelligence / Analytics software solutions.
• Experience testing mobile devices and applications.
• Experience working with PBXs, Voice and Video products.
• An understanding of Azure DevOps CI/CD test integration would be advantageous.
• Mobile device testing using BrowserStack.
• Load test tools, such as K6.
• Experience testing Cloud services such as Azure Functions, App Services, SQL Database etc.

What would I be doing as an Automation Tester at 4Com?

• Writing and maintaining automated tests and strategies across multiple hardware and software products.
• Working face to face with the development team and Product Owners to take user requirements and produce test scenarios.
• Working with other Automation Testers towards a consistent testing framework that works across a range of software products and technologies.
• Creating and maintaining suitable test environments.
• Reporting test results and managing defects.
• Proactively working with the development team.
• Testing failover scenarios.
• Perform functional and non-functional automated testing.
• Running manual tests when required and attempting to recreate end user reported defects.
