Role : Automation Test Engineer

Experience: 8+ Years

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Postman.
• Perform UI performance testing to ensure responsiveness, scalability, and stability of applications.
• Validate API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and ensure consistent contract adherence.
• Write and manage unit and integration test cases using JUnit and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Use Git for version control and effectively collaborate within an agile development environment.
• Contribute to front-end testing using Jest, ensuring component and functional-level validation.
• Execute load and stress tests using JMeter, analyzing performance bottlenecks and system behavior under various conditions.
• Collaborate on integration testing using Cucumber to validate end-to-end business scenarios.
• Monitor application health and troubleshoot issues using Splunk logging (nice to have).
• Log, track, and manage defects and their resolution through JIRA, ensuring clear communication with development teams.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with test automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Postman
• Solid understanding of UI and API automation frameworks
• Strong knowledge of JUnit and integration with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger for API validation
• Experience with Jest for front-end testing
• Hands-on knowledge of JMeter for load/stress testing
• Experience in integration testing with Cucumber
• Proficiency with Git for version control
• Familiarity with Splunk (optional, but a plus)
• Experience with JIRA for defect and project tracking
