Job Description Summary

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Engineer with 2+ years of experience in test automation frameworks, scripting, and test case development. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Selenium, UiPath, TOSCA, etc along with proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript etc. A certification in automation testing is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, UiPath, or other relevant tools.

Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Java, JavaScript, or other scripting languages.

Implement BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) practices using tools like Cucumber etc

Design and develop automated test cases to ensure software functionality and quality.

Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Utilize test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla, or HP ALM for defect tracking and reporting.

Identify and resolve issues in automation scripts to improve test efficiency.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve test automation coverage and performance.

Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to debug and optimize test scripts.

Qualifications and Skills:

2+ years of experience in automation testing and framework development.

Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium, UiPath, or similar.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

Hands-on experience in BDD methodologies (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow).

Experience in test case development and execution.

Knowledge of test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla, HP ALM).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Have

Automation testing certification (e.g., ISTQB Automation, UiPath Certification, Selenium Certification).

Experience with API automation testing.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
