Location Omaha, NE Requisition Number: Staff_13904 Department FMP-Strategic Energy Initiatives 50000763 Business Unit Business & Finance Reg-Temp Full-Time Regular Work Schedule Varies Remote/Telecommuting Hybrid (part-time working on site, part-time working off-site) Position Summary Provide all necessary Building Automation System programming to support new construction, renovation, energy conservation initiatives as well as new and continuous building commissioning. Responsibilities include: Perform highly complex application system analysis and programming. Create HVAC control algorithms and program Building Automation System (BAS) computers in close coordination with the Director of Systems/Energy Engineering. Modify existing, and create new BAS object definitions, based on control system designs, for new facilities and mechanical renovation projects. Monitor and update BAS Graphical user interface for quality and consistency. Routine BAS maintenance, operation, and adjustments including database backup, trend analysis, alarm monitoring, and appropriate response. Campus energy metering systems and energy consumption data maintenance. Mentor and train existing personnel including zone technicians, and building automation technicians to install, troubleshoot, and maintain the entire building automation system including all peripheral components and equipment connected. In-depth technical understanding of the following systems: HVAC, electrical, and building automation/controls. 2. Thorough understanding of mechanical construction drawings and specifications. 3. Thorough understanding of Siemens Building Automation System programming. -Ability to analyze field data and energy consumption data to determine proper functionality of systems. 4.
