Automation - Project Manager: Freelance contract 12 Months

Location: Antwerp (2 days p/w onsite, 3 day WFH)

40 Hours per week

Key Skillset:

Scada, Siemens PLC, WinCC & Project Management Experience.

Dutch + English speaking (French is a bonus!)

What will you do?

• You bear final responsibility for your automation projects, from design to delivery
• You manage the technical choices, the budget and the team in an autonomous way
• You are the point of contact for the customer and monitor the scope of the project
• You identify commercial opportunities and provide extensions and extras
• You will work together with a team of experts for the design, implementation, testing and commissioning
• You report to management on the financial status of your projects at fixed times
• You lead the quotation phase for new projects, from analysis to contract negotiation
• Together with a team of experts, you analyse specifications and technical requirements
• You make a quotation based on consulting the market (suppliers, subcontractors)
• You draw up a well-substantiated quotation that convinces both in terms of content and visuals
• In consultation with your manager, you conduct personal negotiations with the customer to reach a commercial agreement
• With the help of the contract manager and/or the legal team, you will further develop the contract until signing

What do you bring?

• a master's degree in electromechanics, electronics or ICT
• (first) experience as a project manager, preferably in automation projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• knowledge of Microsoft Office and preferably also experience with:
• control and visualization systems (Siemens, Zenon, Phoenix, Schneider ...)
• Networks and industrial communication techniques
• a positive team spirit and broad technical interest
• a creative mind and analytical thinking skills
• Decisiveness and focus on budget, return and result
• Strong communication skills and persuasiveness
• language skills: Dutch and English, French is a plus
