Position: Automation Framework Architect Experience: 10+ years Department: Engineering Location: Noida or Chennai Reports To: Manager-Product Engineering Responsibilities: Providing technical leadership and strategic direction for the testing organization/architecture Driving the development of end-to-end integration tests, automation frameworks, and tools to have robust automated testing pipelines. Design and code comprehensive testing frameworks while taking on a technical leadership role, improving productivity of our development/QE teams, and bringing standardization to our processes and practices. Contribute to technical leadership and strategic direction to continuously improve the Quality Engineering Organization Build, enhance and maintain automation frameworks utilized by team to automate critical user scenarios for regression testing. These tools will assist in faster test automation and functional testing efforts and innovate on existing automation processes. Experience: Strong Coding Standard fundamentals including OO concepts, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. Strong Experience or knowledge of using a BDD automation framework (Java/Python based) Strong database understanding including SQL(Oracle/PostgreSQL), multi-threading, and schema design. Experience with cloud technology GCP, AWS and/or Azure. Proven experience developing comprehensive and effective Test and Performance tools, as well as frameworks. Strong debugging skills and attention to detail In-depth knowledge and understanding of standard quality best practices, techniques, and methodologies to drive continuous quality improvements. Experience delivering quality software in a large distributed system with emphasis on functional and performance automation, workloads, and testing. Experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment systems like Jenkins Experience building and testing applications, RESTful services, or microservices on a modern technology stack.
