Automation Engineer - West Flanders Region - Permanent Role

I am currently working with a company that provides specialist automation machinery manufacturing solutions for their clients across the Flemish region. They are looking for an engineer with significant experience in the programming of PLCs & Robotics.

Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and commission PLC systems and robotic systems.
• Take a significant role in the A-Z of turn-key machine building projects, being involved from design to installation of unique automation machines.
• Develop and optimise automation processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and design customized automation solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to clients when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in Automation/PLC Engineering, ideally in a machine building environment.
• Significant experience in the use of Siemens & Rockwell PLCs, with the ability to program scratch required.
• Willingness to go to clients sites for installation, primarily in the Flemish region.
• Fluency in Dutch is preferred.
