Automation Engineer - Londerzeel Region - Permanent Role

I am currently working with a company that specialises in industrial machinery manufacturing, primarily custom machines, industrial robots and conveyor systems. They are looking for an automation engineer with proven experience in robotics to join their new automation department focused on custom pick and place robots.

Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and commission PLC systems and robotic systems (using Tia Portal and Fanuc).
• Take a significant role in the A-Z of turn-key machine building projects, being involved from design to installation.
• Develop and optimise automation processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and design customized automation solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in automation projects, working from design to commissioning.
• Proven experience in the use of Siemens PLCs and robotics programming.
• Willingness to go to clients sites for commissioning.
