We are currently seeking an Automation Engineer for one of our banking clients.


✅Work location: Kraków

✅Work setting: 6-8 days per month from the office

✅Contract: B2B


Key Responsibilities


  • Design and develop automation solutions for various testing scenarios involving messaging and integration tools.
  • Build and maintain scripts, workflows, and tools to streamline repetitive tasks and minimize manual effort.
  • Implement automation across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments in collaboration with IT and DevOps teams.
  • Optimize and manage automated deployments to ensure high system availability and performance.
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Write and maintain scripts in Python, PowerShell, or similar languages to meet internal automation needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
  • Continuously improve automation workflows for efficiency, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new automation opportunities.
  • Create and maintain thorough documentation covering automation tools, processes, and best practices.


Knowledge and Experience


  • Extensive experience in automation engineering, with a focus on on-prem infrastructure and systems automation.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell or similar.
  • Strong experience with automation tools and frameworks preferably Ansible, Jenkins.
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience implementing and managing them.
  • Experience with on prem distributed platforms – particularly with Linux, VMs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex automation issues.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with API and containerization technologies e.g., Docker, Kubernetes might be considered beneficial.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools to track the performance of automated systems.
