As an Automation Engineer, you’ll be part of transforming legacy systems into intelligent operations. You’ll work on end-to-end solutions that span control system design, programming, commissioning, and support—across domains like oil & gas, offshore platforms, utilities, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
· Architect, program, and deploy automation systems using platforms like PLC, SCADA, and DCS (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, etc.)
· Design smart automation solutions such as remote monitoring, smart wellhead control, and simulation-driven training tools
· Create electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and documentation using AutoCAD or EPLAN
· Integrate industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, Modbus, Profibus
· Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
· Collaborate with mechanical and process engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
· Engage directly with clients and deploy systems in operational environments—not just test labs
Who You Are:
· A problem-solver who thrives in dynamic, hands-on engineering roles
· Experienced across the complete automation lifecycle: from design to commissioning
· Proactive communicator, decision-maker, and self-starter
· Enthusiastic about emerging technologies like IIoT, edge computing, and machine learning in control systems
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Controls, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering
· 2–8 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation
· Proficient in tools such as Rockwell Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal, or Wonderware
· Skilled in designing and troubleshooting control panels, industrial networks, and safety systems
· Familiarity with field instrumentation, hazardous area classification, or offshore control systems is a strong plus
