🔧 Position Overview


United is seeking 3–6 skilled Automation Engineers to join our team for a long-term onsite project focused on packaging and assembly lines. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Allen Bradley and Delta V PLCs, as well as proficiency in HMI systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, high-impact project in the pharmaceutical sector.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities


System Design & Programming: Develop, program, and configure PLCs (Allen Bradley, Delta V) and HMI systems to automate packaging and assembly processes.


Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve issues in automation systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.


Commissioning & Validation: Lead the commissioning and validation of automation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.


Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.


Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver automation solutions that meet project goals.


Training & Support: Provide training and technical support to operational staff on automation systems and processes.


🎯 Required Qualifications


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or a related field.


Experience: 3–7 years of hands-on experience with Allen Bradley and Delta V PLCs in an industrial automation environment.


Technical Skills:


Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI design.


Strong understanding of control systems and automation processes.


Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP).


Soft Skills:


Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.


💼 Preferred Qualifications


Experience in the pharmaceutical or packaging industry.


Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).


Familiarity with SCADA systems and industrial networks.


Certification in automation or control systems is a plus.
