Automation Engineer (PLC / HMI – Packaging & Assembly Lines)

Location: Indianapolis, On Site

Contract Duration: 18–24 months

Start Date: June or July 2025

Overview:

We’re seeking 3–6 skilled Automation Engineers to support a large-scale project focused on packaging and assembly line automation. This is a long-term on-site contract opportunity starting mid-2025, with a focus on Allen-Bradley (AB) and DeltaV systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems for machine automation
• Support commissioning and validation efforts on packaging and assembly lines
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure automation systems meet project requirements
• Provide ongoing support during installation and startup phases

Requirements:

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience with PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting, ideally in packaging or assembly line environments
• Must have worked within pharma or another GMP environment
• Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and DeltaV systems
• Ability to work full-time on-site for the full duration of the project
