ECS is seeking an Automation Developer to work remotely.

ECS is seeking an experienced, organized, highly skilled and motivated Automation Developer to join our dynamic development team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated solutions to streamline our processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the quality of our software products. As an Automation Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and ensure the smooth execution of automation scripts and tools across various applications and systems.

Primary Duties

  • Design, develop, and implement automated solutions for testing, deployment, and operational tasks.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to ensure high-quality code and seamless integration across applications.
  • Write, optimize, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts and tools, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of automation systems to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Analyze existing processes and identify areas for process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Ensure that automation is aligned with industry standards and best practices.
  • Implement enterprise RPA tools and/or assist with installation and setup steps for desktop versions.
  • Provide documentation, training, and support for automated systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation technologies.
  • Collaborate with developers and other team members to define automation requirements and establish best practices.
  • Create RPA and various automation prototypes to analyze and provide to the client.
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, develop and deepen long-lasting client relationships.

Salary Range: $135,000-$155,000

Required Skills

General Description of Benefits

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 7+ years related experience.
  • 4+ years of UiPath experience.
  • Experience developing solutions using UiPath studio and REF Framework.
  • Proven experience in software automation development, with hands-on expertise in writing and maintaining automation scripts.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and automated deployment tools.
  • Knowledge of system integration, APIs, and web services (REST, SOAP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Experience with requirements gathering and implementing UiPath automation to meet those requirements.
  • Customer troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Train end users on development and delivery best practices/concepts.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desired Skills

  • Experience working with RPA and ServiceNow.
  • Federal government consulting experience.
  • Experience in automating infrastructure and cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with performance testing and related tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.).
  • Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or similar.
  • Experience in working with databases and performing data-driven automation.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
