As we continue to scale our process automation practice, we’re seeking a motivated Automation Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is fluent in all things API, understands BPMN workflows, enjoys backend development, and wants to make an impact by improving real-world business operations.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop and maintain BPMN-based workflows to support business automation.
• Integrate workflows with internal systems using REST APIs.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into executable solutions.
• Debug, test, and document automation workflows in a structured development environment.
• Learn and apply best practices in workflow design and automation from senior engineers.

What You Bring

• Strong grasp of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them within applications with hands-on experience with APIs.
• Used API management tools, such as Postman, Postman workflows, Insomnia etc.
• Capable of understanding and utilising Swagger and api documntation.
• Capable of working with JSON payloads and data parsing.
• Solid understanding of BPMN 2.0 and experience with business process/workflow engines.
• Understanding of microservice architecture, event-driven design, and messaging queues
• Proficient in at least one programming language, preferably C# (.dotnet),Java, JavaScript, or similar.
• Testing experience (Cypress, selenium etc).
• Great communication skills.
• Exposure to Camunda Platform 8, Zeebe, or similar workflow tools.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Docker, and/or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices integration.
• Prior experience in financial services or asset finance is advantageous.
• A problem-solving mindset, eagerness to learn, and effective communication skills.
