Job Summary

We are seeking an Automated Test Engineer for Automotive with 2 to 6 years of experience in automation testing and domain expertise in auto-verification and validation. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Automation Desk vTestStudio and scripting languages such as Python Bash CAPL Robot Framework and TestStand. This role is primarily work from home with occasional travel required and involves day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Automation Desk and vTestStudio to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design test strategies that align with business goals.
• Perform detailed analysis of test results to identify defects and ensure timely resolution.
• Implement and maintain test frameworks using scripting languages like Python Bash CAPL and Robot Framework to enhance testing efficiency.
• Conduct auto-verification and validation processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide comprehensive test reports and documentation to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers to improve code quality and testability.
• Manage test environments and ensure they are configured correctly for testing activities.
• Coordinate with project managers to plan and execute test schedules that meet project timelines.
• Utilize TestStand for test sequence development and execution to streamline testing processes.
• Engage in continuous learning and improvement to stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies.
• Support the development of test plans and test cases to ensure thorough coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of testing objectives.
  
  

Qualifications

• Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve complex testing issues.
• Demonstrate proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash CAPL and Robot Framework.
• Have experience in test framework development and maintenance to support automated testing efforts.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken to collaborate effectively with global teams.
• Show expertise in auto-verification and validation processes within the automotive domain.
• Be capable of working independently in a remote work environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
