We are seeking to add an AutoCAD Designer to our team to support our continued rapid growth within the highway construction industry.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level AutoCAD Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will assist in creating technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software, supporting surveying department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD based on specifications and sketches from engineers and project managers.
• Update and revise existing drawings as directed.
• Assist in preparing layout and design documents under supervision.
• Maintain organized project documentation and drawing files.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Learn and apply company-specific CAD standards and procedures.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, CAD, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other CAD software (e.g., Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation) is a plus.
• Internship or project-based experience in drafting or design work.
• Understanding of civil engineering design.
