Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Audit Supervisor to join our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring the success of audit engagements, mentoring staff, and maintaining strong client relationships. As an Audit Supervisor, you'll collaborate closely with leadership, oversee audit processes, and provide expertise in resolving technical issues. With minimal travel and opportunities for professional development, this position offers both career growth and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise audit engagements for privately held businesses and non-profits.
  • Review audit workpapers and ensure financial statements comply with GAAP and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve complex audit issues.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering their growth and technical skills.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and timely deliverables.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Stay current on industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or related field).
  • CPA license.
  • 3+ years of audit experience in public accounting, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supervising audit teams in a public accounting firm.
  • Familiarity with industries we serve (e.g., real estate, non-profits, and private businesses).
  • Proficiency with audit software and advanced tools.
