The Audit Manager will oversee audit projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards while providing exceptional service to clients. The role involves managing a team of auditors and coordinating audit efforts for various clients, particularly in the non-profit sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Review and evaluate audit work papers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with GAAP and PCAOB standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior auditors and staff.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients effectively.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, striving for high levels of client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on audit regulations and industry trends, particularly in the non-profit sector.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of audit experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and PCAOB standards.
• Experience with non-profit organizations (NFP) is a plus.
