Responsibilities
Kforce's client in the Downtown Milwaukee area is looking for an Audit Manager. Summary: The Audit Manager will manage a team of co-workers that conduct audits of our client's key business processes providing assurance to management and the Board of Directors (through the Audit Committee) regarding the effectiveness of the company's internal controls, risk management and corporate governance, the reliability of information, and compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulations. The Audit Manager reports to the VP of Audit.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 8 years of recent and advance work experience in accounting/auditing with at least, 3 years in an advanced level with management experience
- Experience in and financial reporting standards and Audit methodologies
- Understanding of Internal control concepts, SOX/MAR requirements, and the COSO control model
- Working Conditions: hybrid
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
