Audit Associate

GCS Malta is currently seeking an Audit Associate to work with one of Malta's leading corporate companies. The chosen individual will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, handling audit engagements, as well as assisting in audit projects. The chosen candidate will also be reporting directly to the Director

Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients
• Handling audit engagements
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with clients
• Expanding the client base
• Developing and implementing effective audit processes
• Assisting in various audit projects
• Ensuring compliance of best practices of all audit procedures and standards
• Providing training and guiding junior auditors

If you are currently in the process of completing your ACCA qualification or are in possession of an Accountancy degree, with at least 1 - 2 years of experience within the Industry, then this one's for you! Sound knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) is considered an asset.

One must be meticulous and pro-active, possession exceptional communication and organisational skills. The individual must also be capable of working within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Fluency in the English language is considered a must. Knowledge in any additional languages is considered a plus.
