Start with us as a Field Engineer. Your utmost responsibility will be to complete and commission Audio Visual Systems onsite while maintaining a level of interaction with the client. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Review project Scope of Work (SOW) to ensure quality and completeness of installation - Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting when needed - Test and troubleshoot control programs (Crestron, Extron, AMX) - Write DSP system program (Biamp, QSC, Extron, Symetrix, etc.) - Load, test, and troubleshoot code for control, audio and video systems - Setup network switch to required configuration (Cisco, Packedge, Xtreme, etc.) - Test point to point functionality of systems - Preform test video and audio calls - Write basic control system programming - Fine tune audio video systems to ensure optimal performance - Perform client training as needed and act as a customer liaison when needed - Provide documented test results from system testing and commissioning - Create, track, and close a project Punchlist - Update client on Daily status/manage client relations - Provide updated project documentation aka “Red Lines” to Engineering - When required preform room audio measurements Job Requirements - Up to 50% travel, sometimes on a last-minute basis. - Occasional evening, overnight, and weekend work. - Maintain a professional appearance. - Must be able to climb ladders up to 25’ tall and lift up to 75lbs. - Proper and safe use of lifts, ladders, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic tools. - Must be able to work in cramped spaces and on uneven surfaces. - Ongoing training/certification in industry related subjects. - Obtain and/or maintain CTS-I certification (completed within 1st year of hire). - Obtain/maintain Unlicensed Registration for low voltage work within the state of MN immediately upon hire. Education/Experience - High school diploma or equivalent. - Two-year technical degree in low voltage electronics and/or networking or 2-3 years related work experience preferred. - Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Certificates and Licenses - Valid driver’s license required. - CTS or CTS-I preferred - PLT preferred Physical Demands - Lift, push, or carry up to 75 lbs - Sit, stand, bend, crouch, and kneel - Walk on uneven surfaces - Climb ladders up to 24’ tall - Vision acuity requirements include close vision, depth perception, and color recognition.
