The AV CAD Engineer will be responsible for creating and managing detailed CAD drawings for large-scale and complex audio-visual projects. The role requires expertise in adhering to international AV standards, developing comprehensive technical documentation, and ensuring accurate designs to support seamless project execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring the highest quality and precision in design and documentation. Key Responsibilities: CAD Drawings and Design Support: Create detailed AutoCAD and Revit drawings, including AV layouts, signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, and cable schedules. Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, system designers, and engineers to translate design concepts into precise CAD documentation. Standards and Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with AVIXA and other global standards for AV systems. Documentation and Updates: Maintain and update all project-related CAD files and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Technical Expertise:Stay updated with emerging AV technologies, tools, and best practices in CAD design. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in CAD design for large and complex AV projects. Proven track record of handling projects adhering to international AV standards. Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools like D-Tools, EASE, or Stardraw. Familiarity with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX) and AVIXA standards. Understanding of signal flow, rack building, and integration principles for AV systems.
