Groove Jones is seeking a talented and motivated Entry-Level Audio Engineer to join our innovative team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in audio engineering, with a particular emphasis on Pro Tools proficiency.

Job Description

We’re looking for a reliable and punctual audio engineer with a strong work ethic to contribute to our cutting-edge projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with spatial audio, composition, and sound design in an innovative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and manipulation of audio content using Pro Tools

• Contribute to spatial audio projects, including work with Apple Vision Pro

• Participate in composition and Foley sound design tasks

• Operate and maintain analog audio equipment

• Support the implementation of audio in games using Wwise

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Pro Tools (top priority)

• Strong interest or experience in spatial audio

• Basic understanding of composition techniques

• Familiarity with Foley sound design principles

• Experience with analog audio equipment

• Punctuality and excellent work ethic

• Must be local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Unity game engine

• Familiarity with Apple Vision Pro spatial audio

• Knowledge of Wwise audio middleware

• Background in game audio or interactive media
