We are seeking a highly skilled Astrodynamics and Aerospace Systems Engineer with a strong background in the design, development, and testing of aerospace structures and systems. This role requires in-depth knowledge of astrodynamics, foreign aerospace capabilities, and advanced modeling tools to support analysis and innovation in next-generation aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed astrodynamics analysis to support space mission design and trajectory optimization.
• Design, develop, and test structural and system-level components for aerospace applications.
• Analyze aerospace product and equipment specifications to ensure performance requirements are met.
• Evaluate and assess new technologies for integration into existing and future aerospace systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of foreign aerospace capabilities and apply this insight to system assessments.
• Perform modeling and simulation using tools such as MATLAB, Python, and STK (Systems Tool Kit).
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to support system design reviews and technical assessments.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (with 10 years of experience) or Master’s (with 8 years of experience) degree Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Astrophysics.
• Active TS-SCI clearance.
• Proven experience in astrodynamics and aerospace system design and testing.
• Strong understanding of structural mechanics and system integration.
• Demonstrated expertise in mathematical modeling and simulation.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and STK.
• Familiarity with foreign aerospace systems and technologies.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Department of Defense or national security space programs.
• Background in satellite mission planning or missile defense.
