About the Role: Asst. Team Lead- Billing and Collections


Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:


The Billings and Collections Assistant Team Leader will play a critical role in managing the Billing and Collections team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and efficient collections. This position requires a strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and the ability to manage tasks effectively while assisting the team in meeting its goals.


Billing and Invoicing:


Assist in the preparation and distribution of invoices to clients accurately and on schedule for US region. Review invoices to ensure they meet company standards and resolve any discrepancies promptly. Oversees invoicing of complex credits account.


Collections Management:


Monitor accounts receivable, identifying overdue payments, and implementing appropriate collection actions. Collaborate with clients and internal departments to resolve payment issues and discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of collection activities and account statuses.


Leadership and Team Support:


Collaborate with the Finance Controller in managing and mentoring the team. Provide guidance and training to team members, assisting them in improving their performance. Help set team objectives and monitor progress toward achieving goals.


Customer Relations:


Maintain a professional and customer-oriented approach when addressing client inquiries, payment concerns, and discrepancies. Ensure a positive customer experience and resolve any issues efficiently and courteously.


Reporting and Analysis:


Generate and analyze regular reports on billing and collections performance. Identify trends, areas for improvement, and recommend process enhancements to optimize operations.


Process Improvement:


Collaborate with the Billing and Collections Coordinator and Finance Controller to identify and implement process improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency and accuracy.


Qualifications We’re Looking For:


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Team lead for Billing and Collection
  • Applicant should have minimum of 3 year in a related capacity.
  • Proven experience in billing, collections, or financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of billing software and financial systems.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in billing and collections
