Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and detail-oriented Asst Manager - BD & Events to join our Strategy & Brand Team.

The ideal candidate should have experience in understand of planning and hand on end-to-end execution of strategic BD events a media house or event organisation platform, or professional services organisation with good understanding of content and thought leadership. The scope of work will include engaging key CXOs and stakeholders, undertaking event related research and recording, vendor management, tracking, managing data for BD and CRM, and support other BD initiatives.


  • Proven experience in manging and engaging with CXO communities, specifically CEOs, CFO and GCs
  • Responsible and proven ability to manage events independently when assigned. Strong project management skills with expertise in excel and RSVP process.
  • Working knowledge of CRM and development of events led sales funnel
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong research capabilities to identify events, topic ideas and stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Planning & Execution:

  • Plan, and execute a broad spectrum of thought leadership roundtables, clients meets, large format events, forums etc on an ongoing basis
  • Researching and tracking and curate, key important opportunities for our experts to participate in India and globally.
  • Expertise in RSVP management and tracking and record-keeping in excel etc for JSA organised event. No event managers are used by JSA.
  • Engage with Partners on ongoing basis to understand their requirement. Curate JSA events in India or abroad by identifying stakeholders and partners or identify external opportunities. In line with strategic priorities.
  • Develop comprehensive event outline for due approval, including timelines, budgets, and facilitating payment process in line with firm protocols

2. Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

  • Build database of vendors and venues
  • Serve as the primary liaison with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and strategic partners to ensure seamless event execution.

3. On-Site Event Management:

  • Ensuring on-ground coordination during events, overseeing logistics, guest management, branding, technical support, and vendor coordination.

5. Post-Event Analysis & Reporting:

  • Conduct post-event evaluations, including feedback collection, data analysis, and reporting on key performance indicators to measure event effectiveness.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, including event summaries, vendor contracts, and budget reports for continuous improvement and future reference.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in B2B event management.
  • Proven track record of managing high-profile events with top level multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to travel and work outside standard business hours as required by event schedules.
