Summary

The Associate is a full-time position and is responsible for providing project support to multiple clients while assisting Abundance Strategies in general office management. A successful candidate will have some fundraising or project management experience and be excited to work in a fast-paced work environment, proficiently handling a dynamic and important set of tasks. We pride ourselves on excellent work and having fun.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 


Client Management (60%) 

  • Track and monitor client activities. Set agendas and ensure follow-up items from meetings are distributed and acted on. 
  • Assist in drafting development plans and producing written materials for clients as needed. 
  • Conduct extensive research on prospective funding opportunities for clients including, foundations, corporations, and individual donors; draft prospective donor profiles and briefings and develop prospect lists. 
  • Create and organize development materials for clients, including templates, spreadsheets, and reports. 
  • Compile notes and data from informational stakeholder interviews, weekly client calls, and events.  
  • Assist on client events as needed, including in-person and virtual engagements.  
  • Respond to client and prospective client inquiries in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Utilize various CRM databases and track workflow. 
  • Ensure that project tasks are completed in a timely manner, including organizing and managing up to senior team members ensuring their responsibilities are completed. 


Office Management (40%) 

  • Manage Principal and Vice President’s schedules and appointment requests. 
  • Assist in client billing, expenses, and contracts. 
  • Manage firm website, branded materials, and database (PipeDrive).  
  • Maintain relationships with firm vendors, office resources, and off-site meeting prep. 
  • Organize Principal and Vice President’s work-related travel (when safe to do so). 
  • Oversee seasonal internships (including hiring and participant management).
