Job Summary:

The main function of the Associate Tool Maker is to support the Tooling/Molding Operations team on day-to-day activities including, but not limited to, disassembly, cleaning/preventative maintenance and reassembly of injection molding tools.

Essential Functions

• Clean and properly tag molds
• Complete change overs in molds
• Drive Forklift
• Complete work orders
• Disassemble/assemble molds
• Properly clean and lubricate molds
• Keep mold storage system organized, clean, and updated
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications, Education, Skills, And/or Experience Required

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in Assembly, Mold building, Tooling, Machining and/or Maintenance
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Effective team coordination and communication skills
• Accountability to achieve tasks working with little supervision
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing-pulling, and reaching throughout the entire shift.
• Manual dexterity or fine motor skills
• Ability to operate heavy machinery
