The Associate Test Technician will be required to test and troubleshoot state-of-the-art complex digital systems assemblies to the component level while working under minimal supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
* Test Mercury products in accordance with documented test procedures to ensure product meets specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.
* Produce quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Interpret assembly drawings, schematics, test procedures, and process flow instructions.
* Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals.
* Complete basic troubleshooting when required
* Resolve most questions and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher levels.
* Identify quality and reliability issues and submit recommendations for improvements.
* Develop personal goals and objectives for continuous improvement in support of Company and Department goals and objectives
* Maintain workplace organization.
Required Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school or secondary education in electronics technology strongly preferred.
* Typically requires one year or less of experience.
* Basic computer skills including Word and Excel
* Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Aerospace/Aviation experience preferred.

Occasional Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and gripping is required daily.
* Frequently observe, detect, discern, and convey information. Specific abilities required by this job include near, far and color vision acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
* Requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Ability to safely control surgical razor blades and small hand tools used to manipulate tuning stub under a microscope. Specific abilities required by this job include the frequent requirement of overtime work.
