Details:

• Pay for this position is 35.00 to 53.45 hourly depending on experience.
• This position is a one-year contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to permanent.
• Location: Wesst Point, PA (Candidates must be local to PA or NJ)

Requirements/Skills:

• B.S./M.S. in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Biology or equivalent with at least 4 years of lab experience (can include academic).
• Requires at least 2 year experience in the application of Molecular Biology laboratory techniques in industrial or academic settings.
• Strong molecular biology background.
• Experience with at least some of the following: ELISA, DNA extraction, PCR, Nucleic acid gel electrophoresis, cloning, restriction enzyme digests, transformations, etc.
• Personality: Detail Oriented, Flexible, Team player, Optimistic

Job Description:

• Note: 100% lab based onsite role at West Point, PA
• Carry out standard operating procedures involving basic laboratory techniques, operation of laboratory equipment and record keeping necessary to a research laboratory.
• Responsible for E-notebook records.
