Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking an AssociateQuality Engineer to support the V-22 and H47 program in the Supplier Quality organization in Ridley Park, PA.
The successful candidate will perform the tasks of a Supplier Quality Engineer supporting aircraft and fabrication manufacturing within a production environment.
Position Responsibilities:
* Ensuring and implementing preventive and corrective action.
* Compile, measure and analyze process capability data, models and process improvements.
* Evaluate existing business practices for process improvements.
* Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and
program processes and documentation.
* Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual,
Company and regulatory requirements.
* Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities.
* Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
* Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
* Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
* Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
* Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
* Works under general supervision.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Tomeet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required."U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or a technical discipline
* Experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action.
* Experience analyzing data and generating metrics reports
* Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard.
* Experience applying audit standards, procedures and techniques
* Experience in applying quality process improvement methodologies
Typical Education/Experience:
Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation:

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary Pay Range: $82,800 - $101,200
