What you will do:
Extensive experience in various testing types, including Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, System, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Usability Testing.
Proficient in identifying functional test scenarios and developing comprehensive test cases to ensure thorough validation of business requirements.
Strong exposure to Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies, contributing effectively to both iterative and structured development environments.
Deep domain expertise in the Retirement sector, with hands-on experience in testing and validating retirement systems and workflows.
Well-versed in defect management, overseeing the Defect Life Cycle across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Skilled in creating and reviewing test artifacts, including Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Data, and Test Evidence, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Automation testing experience using various industry-standard tools (details can be specified based on your tool expertise).
Basic proficiency in SQL, with experience in writing and executing queries for data validation and backend testing.
Hands-on experience with JIRA, for test management, defect tracking, and Agile project collaboration.
What We're Looking For:
2–3 years of hands-on QA experience in software testing.
Exposure to retirement systems and business processes (Group or Individual Insurance).
Strong test planning and execution skills: Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Data, and Test Evidence.
Familiarity with automation frameworks and scripting tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG).
Proficiency in SQL to validate data integrity at the database level.
Experience using JIRA for test and defect tracking.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Bonus Points
Experience contributing to or setting up automation frameworks.
Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and quality assurance in a DevOps environment.
