About The Job

The Associate Project Manager is ultimately responsible for the success of professional service projects with clients. Associate project managers are assigned to all consulting and delivery projects once a contract has been signed. You will be responsible for project initiation, scope management, risk analysis, maintaining the project plan, project accounting, and the ultimate success and profitability of the implementation to create an outstanding client experience. You will work closely with the Sales team and Implementation teams to ensure projects are closely monitored and managed to client and Brightly expectations.

What You Will Do

  • Initiate implementation projects after the order is closed and managing the project plan, scope, cost, and schedule using Project Management Office defined methodologies – including but not limited to coordinating day-to-day work and activities for the project, assigning resources to project tasks, defining responsibilities to the project team, auditing invoice and expense reports for accuracy, providing status updates to the client, and ensuring contract compliance
  • Identify any risk associated with the project to create a mitigation plan to be communicated with the client
  • Track and monitor project activities to ensure project team performance is accurate and projects are completed on schedule and within budget
  • Negotiate and communicate any changes involving the project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Document and communicate project activities and results on a regular basis to internal and external partners including progress, risk, successes, and challenges
  • Collaborate with the Brightly Project Management Office to develop new and innovative project management concepts and methodologies
  • Take advantage of professional development opportunities, continuously learning new techniques to improve project management skills.

The pay range for this position is $60,340 - $103,440 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of work-related experience in project coordination/project management
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • A positive attitude and problem-solving mentality
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders including clients, team members, and other Brightly departments
  • Demonstrated ability to complete projects in an effective and efficient manner
  • General knowledge of software development and implementation life cycles

What Makes You a Standout

  • Having or actively pursuing a CAPM or PMP certification
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Financial Force, etc.
  • SaaS Experience
