Summary

Responsibilities Include:

- Leads cross functional projects and serves as a liaison between key stakeholders including functional units (e.g. Marketing, Supply Chain, Research & Development, Manufacturing, Legal etc.) and other Amway affiliates.

- Serves as the key point of contact for all aspects of the project; ensures smooth execution and delivery.

- Develops, manages and reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares communication reports.

- Assesses project issues and develops solutions to meet cost, quality, timing and delivery objectives

- Develops appropriate tools to monitor project progress and communicate appropriately to key stakeholders

- Representative projects may include new product development, product launches and promotions.

- Project support activity may include development, management and maintenance of the operational documents necessary for managing large, complex projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience:

Proficient grasp of the following:

Includes:

- Good computer systems acumen including Microsoft Project.

- Priority Management: Effectively oversees, coordinates, and integrates resources to support project and/or organizational goals; provides support and guidance to navigate the bureaucracy of the organization.

- Planning and Organizing: Establishes courses of action for self and others to ensure work is completed efficiently and on time, on profile and on budget.

- Issues Resolution: Uses sound judgment to escalate issues for quick resolution; allows for challenges to be alleviated with a sense of urgency.

- Knowledge of the Business: Ability to interpret and apply the key internal and external drivers that affect the business, including financial, political, cultural and industry trends in support of diverse and globally distributed teams.

- Interpret Data: Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from technical or business material.

- Relationship Management: Ability to develop and maintain effective and productive relationships, including ability to influence, negotiate and manage conflicts effectively and constructively with clients, vendors and peers.

- Team Management: Develops relationships and trust with team members, able to drive team member accountability and desired behaviors, able to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects in a dynamic environment

- Critical Thinking: Ability to formulate conclusions and recommendations using facts and data, business analysis, deductive reasoning and sound judgment.

- Personal Accountability: Should own up the accountability of the project as a whole.

Related Experience:

- 3 – 5 years work experience in planning and tracking projects.

- Former Project Management experience.

- Knowledge of Amway business.

MBA/PGFBM preferred
