Position Summary
This is an onsite position located in Bethesda, Maryland.
NCC is seeking an Associate Program Manager to provide direct operational support to multiple division managers, ensure contract compliance, and timely reporting to the government and act in stewardship to the agency's mission, budgets, and quality goals. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing teams with 50 to 100 employees, several internal and external stakeholders with diverse objectives. The Associate Program Manager will liaise with corporate executive leadership to establish and enforce good governance, create and maintain a positive work culture and promote and reward innovation, personal responsibility, and world class customer service.
Key Areas of Responsibility
* Establishing a strong daily presence and interaction with contract representatives, customers, and NCC employees.
* Developing and implementing efficient and effective Standard Operating Procedures for conference and meeting services.
* Developing and perfecting data gathering and analytics for enhanced reporting.
* Promoting growth and advancement of NCC employees through training programs, professional development planning, and coaching.
* Reporting daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly to agency contract officers regarding key performance indicators, workload indicators, trend analysis, and financial projections.
* Provide direct leadership of key managers, conference planners. AV technicians, and support staff.
* Conduct interviews, staffing planning, and program configuration in response to evolving federal requirements, workload balancing, and surge actions.
Minimum Requirements
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
* Recent commensurate experience with large, complex programs.
* Experience managing technical teams in support a federal contract.
* Confidence in creating a pro-employee culture where social justice, transparency, and growth are embraced and considered essential.
* Experience managing, revising, and perfecting the financial, workload, and stakeholder engagement activities associated with a federal contract.
* The ability to comfortably not be the smartest person in the room, but to be the person who makes everyone better - a force multiplier and a servant leader.
* Experience and precision in program reporting, metrics, and analytics.
* Complete facility with O365 suite, electronic and in-person communication, and time keeping systems.
Preferred Qualifications
* PMP / PGMP certification.
* Familiarity and/or expertise in Audio Visual and Conference Communications technologies highly desired.
* Event Planning certifications (GCCP, CMP).
* Experience working with federal stakeholders to plan program expansions (additional work scope, new FTE roles, broadened mission requirements).
Special Position Requirements
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm ET with ability to be flexible based on customer's needs.
Trave: 1 to 2 times a year along the eastern seaboard.
