Summary

The Associate Program Manager (APM) is responsible, as assigned, to assist in all aspects of the day-to-day oversight, supervision, and management of a designated Strategic Partner and Strategic Partner Program. The core responsibility of the Associate Program Manager will be to learn how to successfully manage a Strategic Partnership Program. The APM will be required to learn how mange partnership risk and relationships, which includes the ongoing review of legal agreements, marketing product offerings, credit policies, operations, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, program policies and procedures, partner account management, vendor management, and IT audits. The APM interacts with and is supported by each respective department within the Bank and third-party resources (i.e. Outside Counsel, Accounting, etc.) required to manage the Strategic Partner Programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The below essential functions to be learned and mastered are, but will not be limited to the following: * Primary point of contact for each assigned Strategic Partner * Attend Strategic Partner meetings to discuss bank opportunities; identify client needs and evaluate alternative business solutions * Work with the Strategic Partner to obtain and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting metrics * Work closely with each respective department that is required (or third-party) for ongoing oversight, program and product testing, reviews, and monitoring of the Partner * Liaise with the Bank's Credit Department to review all aspects of the Strategic Partner's credit program, including initial and ongoing review and approval of credit policies, scorecards, and underwriting processes * Support Bank management during regulatory exams or internal audits * Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to clients and internal management * Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change; manage the process of innovative change effectively * Effective Program Management: apply bank methodology, enforce standards and bank policies, minimize exposure to risk and ensure completion and accurate storage of finished program related deliverables * Communicate relevant program information to appropriate parties, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion * Provide professional guidance to assist coworkers in career and leadership development; inspire coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence * Participate in development opportunities including training Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) * Pleasant and confident demeanor when dealing with colleagues and clients * Assertive self-starter, with exceptional professional verbal/written skills, who is highly organized and able to work independently to finish assigned program related responsibilities. * Good people-management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with a team and individually * Associate's degree in a business-related field OR equivalent work experience * Work experience in finance or banking is a plus * Program management experience is preferred, especially skill in coordinating with other departments and the ability to analyze complex issues with strong attention to detail We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
